Well, in regards to the "Canterlot voice" Luna mentioned today in "Luna Eclipsed", I've decided to have Celestia not use it. Two explanations: 1. She's never been super formal in the series, so her going all Shakespeare would be OOC, and simple invoking of this trope: [link]
I don't know a single person who liked reading Shakespeare for school, so why on Earth would you want to read it for fun?

Discord, Princess Celestia, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are all the properties of Lauren Faust, Studio B, The HUB, and Hasbro.
